I have a bad habit of talking to myself and I constantly listen to music. As music is my "calming outlet" I buy a lot of cds. I think it's somewhat of an addiction now, as I normally can't go a month without adding 2-3 new cds to my collection. lol

Not much of a fashionista, but I do like to look good. I'm perfectly content to bum around the house in my pajamas, but as soon as I leave the house I'm dressed nicely.

I like to jump from subject to subject, poke fun at idols/singers I like, keyboard mash, abuse the words "glee" and "lol", point out engrish in songs I like and then lol about it for extended periods of time, and over all just be random. A--At least it's amusing?

Okay, so you all know that I don’t really listen to the radio often. So when I do the last thing I need to hear is a massacred version of Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. I hear enough bad remixes of already bad songs on the radio as is, I don’t need to hear Kanye West make a laughing stock out of one of my favourite Daft Punk songs. Of course, I might have been the only one that was all “LOL WHAT IS THIS CRAP?” when I first heard Stronger.

Apparently the song is popular though. I–I just know that somewhere in this country there is someone listening to that song and calling it “techno”. fkgsopgh;ka;lfaklghjkal. *bashes head against wall* I hate it when people get their genres wrong. Daft Punk is about as techno as Arashi is hard rock.

Anyway, I’ve been trying to figure out if you can really call Stronger a song or not. So far my mom and I have come up with this:

Me: Hey mom, can you take a 7 second sample from a pre-existing song by a well known artist and repeat it over and over for like four minutes and then add a few lyrics of your own and still call it a song?
Mom: Uh…no. At best you could call it an “edit”.

I can only hear “Working harder, make it better, moving faster, makes us stronger, more than ever, hour after hour, work is never over” repeated so many times before it gets repetitive and annoying. There’s a reason the original artist didn’t repeat that part five hundred times, maybe you shouldn’t either.

In short, I need to stay away from the radio.
